Annual Scientific Meeting: Diversity in Dentistry

The Annual Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), will explore the unique journeys, careers and experiences that shape dentists’ lives both within and beyond the profession.

Delegates will gain fresh perspectives, practical insights and inspiration from colleagues whose diverse experiences are helping to shape the future of dentistry.

“Join us for an engaging two-day programme featuring distinguished local and international speakers, offering valuable insights and networking opportunities,” said Dr Kate Farrell, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

A highlight of the conference on Friday 2 and Saturday October, in RCSI’s Desmond Auditorium at No. 26 York Street, will be the prestigious Edward Leo Sheridan Lecture, which this year will be delivered by Professor Duncan Sleeman.

There will also be  a pre-conference hands-on course in Paediatric Dentistry for General Practitioners on Thursday 1 Oct 2026. Further details are available here.
